History of the Department of Marketing
The department was founded in 1974 as the department of logistics and accounting. Since its foundation the department has been reorganized and changed its name several times: the Department of Production Planning and Logistics (1984), the Department of Aviation Application in the National Economy (1986), the Department of Marketing and Resources (1996), the Department of Marketing (2016).
The department is a graduation in the specialty 075 "Marketing", "E-marketing" and "International marketing" and provides training of specialists of different educational and qualification levels in full-time, distance and distance learning.
The teaching process at the department is provided by 19 scientific-pedagogical workers, among them two doctors of science, 3 professors, 11 candidates of sciences, associate professors. In the educational process, a computer class is used at the Department of Marketing and Resources. The department is equipped with modern facilities of the laboratory providing resources, market research and others.
The sphere of scientific interests of scientific and pedagogical staff of the department is the development of enterprise development strategy.
Graduates of the Department of International Economics
International Economics graduates have the following competencies:
identify patterns of functioning of the modern economy at the micro and macro levels;
collect, analyze and process the data necessary to manage international economic activity in the context of ensuring the competitiveness of socio-economic systems;
systematically evaluate internal and external factors of influence to solve complex economic problems for implementation of adaptive measures of integration of socio-economic systems in the global space for increasing the efficiency of business processes;
develop variants of regulatory measures taking into account trends of socio-economic, demographic development and justify their selection on the basis of performance criteria;
use analytical and methodological tools to justify economic decisions;
apply a scientific approach to the formation and justification of a system for managing international competitiveness;
develop scenarios and strategies for the development of aviation enterprises in the international transport services market;
plan and develop investment projects in the sphere of the international economy, carry out their information, methodological, material, financial and personnel support.
During your studies you have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the following disciplines: International Economics, International Economic Law, International Trade, Accounting in Foreign Countries, International Marketing, International Finance, National Economics, National Economy Management of the international competitiveness of the enterprise ”,“ International economic development strategies ”, etc.
Graduates of International Economics specialty can work in: Ukrainian state structures; international organizations, innovation and investment projects; commercial enterprises operating both on the territory of Ukraine and abroad; financial institutions (banks, credit institutions, investment funds, specialized financial companies, insurance companies); airlines (airlines and their foreign missions, airports, aviation construction companies); chambers of commerce and industry.
The educational process is carried out according to educational programs that meet modern world standards and the latest methods. Thanks to the existing integration links, students are provided with practice bases at leading aviation enterprises.
Graduates of the International Economics educational program have the opportunity to work in such popular positions for international economists as foreign economic experts, export inspector, international relations consultant, international trade economist, contractual and claimant works, head of the department of external cooperation, tourism manager, regional development, head of production unit for transport, commerce and more.

Communications Of The Department Of International Economy
The cooperation of the Department of International Economics with aviation industrial and commercial enterprises is reflected in the organization and conducting of joint research works, organization of joint scientific seminars, passing of students of research and undergraduate practice. In this direction, cooperation is being carried out with such organizations as JSC International Airlines of Ukraine, JSC AtlasJet Ukraine Airlines, Vietnam Airlines JSC, DART Ukrainian Airlines JSC, Kiy Avia JSC, Antonov JSC , SE “Factory 410 CA”, SE “Kyiv International Airport” (Zhuliany), SE “Boryspil International Airport”, Association “Airports of Ukraine”, Institute of Civil Aviation “Ukraeroproekt”, etc.
